Understanding Anxiety Together
A creative workshop for young people aged 11–14 and their trusted adult
Sometimes worry is hard to explain and when you’re the adult trying to help, it can be difficult to know what to say.
Join Freya for a gentle, creative workshop where you can explore worry and anxiety together, understand why these feelings happen and discover practical ways to respond.
Through craft, creativity and relaxed conversation, you’ll have time to connect, learn more about how anxiety can affect our thoughts and bodies, and try coping strategies to take home.
Together, you’ll:
• Explore the “why” behind worry and anxiety.
• Build a shared understanding of what anxiety can feel like.
• Try different coping tools and consider what might help.
• Spend time creating and connecting with each other.
There’s no pressure to share personal experiences with the group or find the perfect words. Freya will gently guide the activities and conversations.
